Calligraphy of the Mushaf رسم المصحف

A course covering the history of calligraphy of the Mushaf, the rules of scripting and the explanation of the scholars of these rules.

The course is conducted over two modules:

• First module covers the history, the scripting, the different Masahif (printed Quran copies), the process of wring a Mushaf nowadays and the explanation of the layouts of the different Masahif
• Second module covers the explanation of the scripting, rules of writing the Mushaf and comparisons between Mushaf of Al Mashariqah and that of Al Magharibah.
