Ijazah Program

Important Notice

Final enrollment in the Ijazah program is subject to approval after shortlisting and sitting for an interview. The process of application and selection is as follows:

1. Apply by filling the registration form by clicking the “Subscribe Now” button above.
2. If the applicant is shortlisted based on the form, she will be called for an interview.
3. The shortlisted applicant will receive a scheduled interview slot via email from the Marjan University administration team.
4. If the applicant attends and passes the interview, she will be enrolled in a three-month probation period.
5. Pay the monthly fees.
6. If the student passes the probation, she will gain full enrollment in the program.

Fees

Original Fees: $30/month
Discounted Fees (launch offer): $20/month
Fees are paid monthly and only by students who are finally registered.

Main Message

Ijazah means a connected chain of narration of the Quran reaching the Prophet (ﷺ) – known as Sanad/Isnaad (سند / إسناد) – transferred to us by our teachers.

This program guides both teachers and students of the Qurʾān through their journey of obtaining Ijāzah. The types of Ijāzah covered include:

• Tilāwah (Recitation)
• Memorization
• Qirʾāt (Different modes of recitation)

Requirements

• Pre-requisite: TTS & TTI
• Offered to advanced-level students who have learned Tajweed rules of Imam Hafs and completed the recitation of the entire Quran with a teacher.
• All programs and classes are for Female Muslims.
• Minimum age: 16 years old.
• Good command of English language.
• Good Internet connection.
• Basic knowledge of online conference tools.
• Before joining any of the programs, students must attend a 3-day course: Etiquettes of Seeking Knowledge (EoSK).
  This course prepares students for the path of seeking knowledge.
