Marjan University aims at providing coaching and training for the teachers of Tajweed, Quran and Arabic in order to qualify sisters in becoming professional teachers of Quran, Tajweed and Arabic teaching non-Arabic speaking Muslim sisters of all levels and tongues.
The program covers techniques, approaches and diverse learning methodologies of teaching trainees of different ages and different tongues, coaching trainees in learning the common mistakes and ways to correct them.
In order to complete any of these programs, trainee must complete two modules. One obligatory module: TTS and the training module (as per the desire of the trainees) Taj-TT or TTI or TTA (explained below).
Obligatory Module:
Teachers’ Teaching Skills (TTS): delivered online & on-site. Providing technical and different presentation skills for professional teachers. Course duration: 6 months
Training Modules:
Taj Teachers’ Training Program (Taj–TT): A 2-year program, delivered on-site. Designed for teachers of Quran and tajweed.
Teachers’ Training for Ijaza (TTI): Delivered online. Designed for teachers who have Ijazah (in Quran recitation or memorization or poems) to pass on the ijaza to other students. Course duration: 2 months
Teachers’ Training for Arabic (TTA): Delivered online. Designed to prepare teachers to teach Quranic Arabic to different non-Arabic speaking students. Course duration: 8 months
Main message
Having Ijazah or giving Ijaza is not only an honor, it is -in essence- responsibly and authority.
Hence, we offer the programs which will help in perfecting skills of teachers to give ijazah on a solid base through applying various techniques and creative approaches. Educators should not only be knowledgeable, but creative professionals as well.

Requirements
All programs and classes are for Females Muslims.
Minimum age is 16 years old.
Good command of English language.
Good Internet connection.
Basic knowledge of online conference tools.
Before joining any of the programs, students must attend a 3-day course: Etiquettes of Seeking Knowledge (EoSK). This course aims at preparing students to the path of seeking knowledge.
